Based in San Antonio, Frederick (Fred) Hobbs is an executive with more than two decades of experience in mortgage origination, loan servicing, and private mortgage note investing. Throughout his career in San Antonio and across Texas, Fred Hobbs has built a reputation for leadership in mortgage capital markets, specializing in the acquisition, underwriting, and management of complex loan portfolios.

As president of Texas Mortgage Capital Corporation, Fred Hobbs plays a central role in shaping private lending and investment strategies within the region. He oversees the acquisition, underwriting, and management of mortgage note investments.

Over the course of his career, Frederick Hobbs has worked extensively as a licensed mortgage loan originator and broker, specializing in both conventional and agency lending. He has spent the past 15 years focusing heavily on private money lending transactions, where he has originated and closed a wide range of loans secured by residential and commercial properties. His experience spans the full lending life cycle, from origination to servicing and resolution.

He is also currently the president of Securenet Loan Services, LLC. In this role, he directs the company’s operations in collecting mortgage payments and distributing principal and interest payments to lenders.
